AltaVista Lodge is very special to us. We have designed our venue for your comfort and peace of mind. Each of our rooms opens onto terraces that enjoy direct access to the pool and sub tropical gardens. AltaVista lives up to its name 'High View' with spectacular panoramic views across open countryside to the sea or to the Monchique Hills with amazing sunrises and sunsets.

We can host up to 26 people in our 9 en-suite bedrooms:

Poolside room #1 – 1 double bed or 2 /3 single beds – shower room
Poolside room #2 – 1 double bed or 2 /3 single beds – shower room
Ocean View room #1 – 2 single beds – shower room
Ocean View room #2 – 1 double bed – shower room
Ocean View room #3 – 1 double bed – shower room
Ocean View room #4 – 2 single beds – shower room
Penthouse room # 1 – 1 double bed or 2 single beds – shower room
Penthouse room #2 – 4 single beds – shower room
Garden room – 6 bunk beds - bathroom and house shower room
* All rooms have hotel standard mattresses for a cosy night’s sleep

Poolside Rooms

These are our most spacious rooms with great decor and deluxe private shower rooms. They are more spacious than the Ocean View rooms and can easily sleep a third person.

All Ocean View rooms have private ensuite bathrooms with shower. The terraces have breathtaking sunrise views and sea views that also overlook the pool!

Shared Rooms

Our spacious Garden Room has direct access to the gardens and pool. Our large Penthouse Room overlooks the pool and has spectacular panoramic views across open countryside to the sea and magical sunset views to the Monchique Hills. Very comfortable rooms even when sharing.
